Rinaldi Engineering is a small structural/civil engineering firm located in Enfield, Connecticut. It has been run by Charles Rinaldi, P.E. for 30+ years. Although the firm specializes in solving structural problems in houses and buildings, it performs a range of services including: foundation inspections (including “crumbling foundations), structural evaluations, residential and commercial structural design, in-progress construction inspection, site plan preparation, building lot and site evaluations, and more. It occasionally performs home inspections, having performed more than 1500 inspections in three states: Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.
Rinaldi Engineering is owned and operated by Charles A. Rinaldi. He has been a Connecticut licensed Professional Engineer for 49 years. In addition to his structural engineering experience, Charles has also built more than 65 houses of all styles and sizes. This building experience is a valuable resource in determining the causes of structural problems in houses and buildings. This experience helps Charles to quickly evaluate problems, and determine whether they are simply a workmanship or cosmetic issue, or if they are true structural issues. Charles has construction inspection experience, having performed more than 250 construction progress inspections for a local bank. He has also served as an expert witness in construction claims cases. Rinaldi Engineering will consider, depending on its work load, assignments within a 100 mile radius of Enfield, CT. Rinaldi Engineering takes pride in performing every job to the full satisfaction of every client. It strives to accommodate the client’s schedule. If drawings are needed, it uses professional CAD operators to produce detailed, accurate, professional, stamped drawings. Rinaldi Engineering would be glad to be of service.
